Tide Clock App Reviews

For the bad reviews out there. 1 - RTFM (google it) 2 - Dont be a moron I live in a area where the intercostal waterway meets the Atlantic and knowing the tides makes the difference between fishing in your boat or taking your boat for a mud walk. Setting the clock per instructions provided accurate information (see RTFM) The clock face provides quick and easy to understand data on all the information a boater would need to know (see dont be a moron) Its a great App at a great price.

Just throw 99 cents out the window. This program looked good but is a beta at best. Location field limited to 8 characters and you get no verification that it is your desired location. Help file doesnt mention setting a location at all. I wound up getting Salt Water Tides app for free. It has drop down lists that makes selecting an area easy. Plus you can see up to 14 days in advance in list format. Good, accurate and free. I understand the negative reviews now.

Its not an App it a complete Scam. Im not worried about the buck I just wasted, it just irritates me that people get away with this and profit from it.

The negative reviews are from people who dont understand that this app does not find your location for you, & its not supposed to. This is not a bad thing. You must know (and input) the time & date of a full moon and one high tide. It calculates everything else from that start point. I took a chance on this app years ago & Im reviewing it now because its my favorite tide app out of many. I need no data connection, its fast, its accurate, & its clear to understand at a glance.
